L.E.D. Lighting has come of age.
These photograph show two school halls, each equipped with digitally controlled (DMX)
LED lighting.
Each unit has 36 super bright LEDs, 12 red, 12 Green and 12 Blue.
By mixing combinations of the 3 colours, all colours can be produced (including white)
When fully illuminated the combined power consumption is only 108 Watts, so a lighting
bar with 8 units consumes less power than a single bar electric fire.
The LEDs have an average life of 50,000 hours.
